okay….
after updating my mac to 10.4.2, something went wrong.
it won’t reboot, finder looks flashing over and over eternally (like menubar and desktop icons show and disappear) and i can’t even select restart from menubar ![]()
of course i did the disk utility thing and repair permission using OS install disk, but still the problem never recover.
i logged in using root account, then deleted some finder/desktop relatied .plist files of my account.
then i finally could get into my account….
it seemed working fine, BUT when i re-calibrate the monitor setting, it went crazy again. no reboot, flashing desktop like b4!!!
and i noticed my email was gone too…. i thought i can live w/no monitor calibration but now i can’t even open a text file with simple little software. most of my apps started crashing
so im going to reinstall the system. its friday. works piled up.
mac sucks sometimes……..
